OHA Students Return to class, Add to Population and Celebrate Constitution Day!

We are so glad to have our students back from Fall Break! This w
eek has already proven to be busy for everyone. We kicked off the week with orientation for Cosmetology AM/PM and Massage Therapy. The new students dug right in and are enjoying what they have learned thus far. We're all excited about their future and the hopes of a successful career in their chosen fields.

Wednesday proved to be a busy day after three orientations! Oklahoma Health Academy kicked off a celebration of Constitution Day. We gathered for some food, fun and celebration with students of all programs.

Students enjoyed hot pop corn and red, white & blue cookies prepared by Chad Striplin, Executive Chef of the Sheraton Hotel in Midwest City. Along with the choice of fruit punch or lemonade, students settled in their chair for a quiz-off. With prizes of Chili's and Applebee's gift cards and Movie sets of National Treasures 1 & 2 up for grabs, there were plenty of volunteers for the game of Constitution quiz-off! We also awarded the top student for best patriotic attire.
All in all this week has been fun and exciting! It's nice to have the programs all a buzz with students again. As we bring the week to a close, student were again treated to snacks of all varieties and fruit juice to kick off their day, and again the gifts were greeted with much excitement. Here's to looking forward to more of the same next week at OHA!
